    Painting engravings on AR

I have a Ruger SR-556 and I was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere in the Inland Empire I could take it to to get the lower receiver engravings painted (safe - white, fire - red, etc.) I know my hand isn't steady enough to do that myself. Also, I want to get my dust cover engraved as well. Any Suggestions? Thanks.

Hinestly I did my m&p engravings with a paint marker. You don't have to have a steady hand since when you clean the excess.off you cajt clean the grooves. A simple method I've heard is crayons and an eraser. Simple color over it then take the eraser to it and it will remove everything but the crayons in the engraved portion.
primer, powder, projecile, press, load, fire repeat!

I literally just read and tried oil pastel crayons. My daughter just got some as a gift a week ago. Looks great!

I think I figured it out. I had to switch from my phone to the laptop. Took me maybe 15 minutes to color and clean up the excess. It's not the best photo in the world but it looks way better in person.

Oil pastels work great. A couple weeks pass and it does dry . Mark across the lines to fill them up then use a patch with WD40 on it to clean up.

Model airplane paint works well and is near impervious to cleaning fluids. I picked up the paint and a really fine tipped brush at Michael's. Was very easy to apply and looks really nice.

I used model paint and a toothpick.

looks good! Yea my M&P i thought i was SCREWED i had one of the paint pens where you push the tip in to get paint on it, well my dot on my rear sight fell off so i figure ill put a dab of white paint in there. I depress the tip and there goes my entire slide in white high end japanese model paint. frantically i run grab the alcohol and wipe and start removing every peice of my gun only to find it like this in the end. Been used alot in the past year so the paint is about due for a fresh coat.
