POF lowers are a different story.

Integrated trigger guard and a pretty slick ambi bolt release. The finish on them is also very nice not to mention the 308 was designed around a normal AR15 parts kit.

There is suppose to be alot of new .308 OLL coming to market. The RRA was one I was really interested in. Not sure if it really is available or not yet.

Those are cool "additional features" that don't really enhance the weapon's ability to shoot. I like them, too, but just wanted to make that clear.

I like the Fultons that I saw. Dachan had dibs on a pair, but i think seller flaked on him. I was hoping to relieve him of one, since Im also getting his Desert Eagle passed on to me. CGN, the most expensive, free web site!

Once the 3rd party armalite lowers are released they will but you won't be able to use them in M14s anymore. A cut is made in the mag and the follower is modified.

What O.L.L. do you guys recommend in .308? Fill me in, whats good, whats better. How much will they cost, whats a good deal, where should I look? Thanks guys

If you want .308 AR, they pretty much mentioned it (Hesse and Fulton).

If you want HK, for $1200 - $1300, you can buy a PTR91.

If you want FAL, you can get the receivers for Entreprise (local in LA area), DSA, Century and DC Industries. However, you can get rifles from Entreprise and DSA.

If you want a true forged mil-spec M14, get the LRB, but it's a lot of $$$. Otherwise, get the entire Springfield M1A rifle.
