    Schells in Turlock

Don't shop at Schells in Turlock!!- I bought a mislabeled Bianchi holster for $59.95 for my SP101 on 2/2 and upon getting it home I realized the holster was to small. I went to return it the same day and they told me they would not issue a refund but they would keep the holster and when I order a more expensive one they would exchange it. I went back today (2/6) with the Ruger to show them it did not fit and the only other holster they had for the SP101 that would fit was $28.95. The guy said he would do a straight across trade and I would be out over $30.00. They have a sign that says special order items are subject to a 20% restocking fee but this was something they had on a wall. I've filed a complaint with the BBB and will see what happens.

BBB does absolutely nothing. Did you pay by CC? Leave the hoster there and dispute the charges with CC company. If you paid cash looks like you're gonna be out $30 unless you want to take him to small claims. I would take him to small claims just because of the DB he is

I paid cash. I've bought two handguns PP and went thru Alquist. They have great customer service but not a large selection of holsters, cases, etc.

Since Schells does gunsmithing and I heard good things about their skills I was going to have them do a recall fix on my Winchester 100 .308 but not anymore

                Walmart refunds no questions asked.
Schells holds customer responsible for a screwed up special order.

                Therefore Walmart > Schells

+1 for Alquist Arms. They are always busy and there is hardly any room to walk in the store but it is one of my two favorite places to buy anything gun related.

Well what do you expect nobody go's to Schells unless they have to.He is a fricken rip off.I needed a swivel for the cap of my mossberg 500 I paid 15.00 for a little screw.Deer season was approaching and i needed a sling attached to it asap.
Everyone should call him and give him a piece of their mind.

Stick to bilsons or alquist Larry that works for bilsons is a real nice guy he gave some good deals on reloading components. Alguist does not carry any reloading stuff yet untill they get the new store up .

Nice racks are much better. You can grab both sides of the rack to help stabilize while mounting.
