Vallejo Gun Show

Is it even worth going to? I've seen the pictures of other recent Ca gun shows and the lines seem ridiculous... was anyone able to get good deals on ammo at the other shows?

The Vallejo show is one of the better gun shows in N.Cal. I go about every 2-3 months to the Vallejo show. It most certainly is better than those at cal expo, Roseville and Auburn in my opinion. Of course, much depends on what your looking for.

Vallejo is this weekend. I'm going. I find stuff there I don't see at the Cow Palace, and in San Jose when we had shows here.

I have been going to the Vallejo gunshow for the past 3yrs. Its a bit smaller than the Cov Palace, but its a nice show. I went to the Sac show earlier last year and it sucked. They had some pet show in the same building next to it.
Hardly anyone there. When see the Chinese selling their backpacks and duffel bags too, I know its going downhill.
A vendor is there selling salami at Vallejo too. I plan to go Sat. but will arrive about 10am and look at the parking lot. $8 parking. So I may not go in if lots of cars. I will try Sunday and think that may be the best bet. Depending what you are looking for. If ammo, the vendors may put a limit on how much you can get at one time. I am looking for good rifle hardened carrying case. Thats my reason to go, also some good hi power .22LR rounds.

i'm not in the area, so it's a no-go for me. i can't deal with the large crowds that the shows close to me have drawn recently. i assume all the shows are drawing large attendance.
