mag question....

i have a question about sig factory mags vs. some mec-gar mags i bought from ebay.
i purchased two 10 round factory sig mags in original packaging from an ebay seller and received 2 12 round modified mags to hold 10 rounds, made in italy.
i'm also not familiar with mec-gar, i have never used these mags, plus i was bummed they were not factory as advertised but that is another story.
your thoughts?

Mec-gar mags are gtg. Better than the current Checkmate mags that come with the newer sigs. When I bought my P226, I immediately threw out the factory mags and bought mec-gars.

Mec-Gar is the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) of magazines for Beretta, CZ, EAA, ParaUSA, SIG and Walther.
