    Promag or Pmag

What does everyone like more for 5.56 magazines? The metal Promags or the plastic Pmags?

Promags are garbage. For metal mags, C products or Check-Mate Industries.

I had a few promags thought they were ok for a little then after a little more use they started causing feeding issues. Got rid of them dunno though maybe changing them to magpul followers would have helped. Switched to pmags and have stuck with them since have yet to experience a single feeding failure since the change.

Promags are great for practicing failure/malfunction drills.

ProMag is only good enough for range (if that..)
PMAGS for me but I do own a few metal USGI mags with Magpul Followers.

BCM isnt a magazine manufacturer... someone, probably D&H or ArmaLite, made them.

Promags are utter garbage. Of the 25 or so I have seen for M1As and Mini-14s, 100% were defective out of the package. The metal mags bulged outward when fully loaded, and the feed lips were angled incorrectly, but I could fix that by bending them with a pair of plies. For the plastic mags, the feed lips were also defective, and when fully loaded, cartridges would pop out of the mag and go flying if the mag was bumped before insertion into the rifle. When inserted into the rifle, you would get a double-feed, but without anything going flying.
