Places to shoot?

So I have been looking for new places to shoot for a while. My two areas of interest are the north bay (near Sonoma County), and south bay (near santa cruz, los gatos, campbell).

I didn't know where else to post this on Calguns so hopefully someone can help.
I have been visiting the ranges for a while now and am searching for other venues such as BLM or other places that are less restricted. Another thing that I have been looking for us a range that offers steel targets.

Any tips and info would be greatly appreciated, thats guys!

Sunnyvale Rod&Gun has steel targets on the 100yd rifle range, they also put up some new steel targets at the 25yd pistol range.

But if you're not a member you're relegated to every other Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday. Good luck getting a lane on the rifle side on a weekend unless you set up camp at the door before the sun comes up.

Dont know how far you are from Avenal but we got a gun range here but you got to be a member to use the range unless you know somebody from around the town. Check the site out www.avenalgunclub.com
