    Big 5 lol!

So I was in Big 5 the other day getting my mini 14 out of jail. I was looking around while they were getting the mini. I look at the rifle selection. I didn't have my glasses so it took me a moment to realize what I was looking at. At first I thought there were ar's back on the shelf. They were 22's.

So what is the difference between a tactical ar and a tactical 22? At first glance they look the same. Why sell one and not the other? They both are "scary looking".
I thought it was "We the people."

    1. No need to worry about AW laws with rimfire rifles.
    2. It's for the children.

I looked at a AR-15 on their shelf awhile back, the front site tip was bent. It demonstrated to me that Big 5 doesn't care for their rifles or for quality.

I have never gone into a gun store and found a rifle to be malfunctioning or something incorrect.
War, it has a smell, it tastes different, it takes a different kind of man, who runs towards gunfire and not away from it.

Watch this and thank a veteran next time you see him.

Bought the Umarex Colt. Had fun for a few range trips. Opened it for cleaning and it was NOT the same as an AR at all. Not sure what happened but the holes never matched back up again for my to pin it.

Sold it to someone who could. --- Back when guns were kinda cheap. Paid a few hundred bucks for it.

Those Umarex Colts were always ****. There are plenty of other examples of quality dedicated .22LR ARs.

AR style , mp5 style .22s are everywhere broheim . Have been for years.
If your a guy really into your AR, then you can save lots of money on .223/5.56 ammo by shooting your .22. Controls, sights and overall feel are identical.

              Don't get the colt/umarex, get the M&P15-22.

Just great,I just got the colt m4 ops lol...I feel so much better after reading what you guys said about it..

I didnt do proper research prior to my purchase,I did a little, but it was mostly reading reviews on youtube.I was buying a mini 14,and the guy next to me was checking out the colt m4,looked good to me,I handled it,felt good, asked the clerk about it,he had nothing but good things to say,and since it was the panic period,i was like screw it,i will take it.

The good news is,I havent fired a single round from it yet,so,it may be up for sale soon lol.

You can probably google colt22 vs S&W22 and get a good comparison . If I were you having already bought it, I say blast away . It's a .22 if you don't like it, pass it to your child/ren, or something.

I bought a Colt/Umarex/Walther M4 about two years ago, and I've had nothing but good from it. I watched a detailed yuotube vid on how to take it apart for cleaning and it worked fine. I guess I got lucky because it has worked just fine for me.
Things are a lot more like they used to be than they are now...

I was very lucky getting one,I got the last one out of the 4 they had at the warehouse, and the only reason i found out they had them there was because the girl helping me was looking at an inventory sheet, and I asked if they had any.I am very happy to have gotten one,its such an awesome rifle.

I plan to take the m4 and the mini 14 out this weekend, although,I have looked around to see what ammo works the best in the colt m4 ops,i know the remington ammo dosent work well it,it sure dosent work well at all with my enfield,I heard the winchesters work well, but if any of guys have any luck with a specific brand, let me know,it would be appreciated.

NY just banned 22 Olympic target pistols, and try to put a 20 round mag into your 10/22. I think we need to worry about everything right now.
