Sks folding stock

Just bought a ati folding stock for the sks what do I need to do to make it legal? My sks is a Chinese norinco and does it fall under the c&r compliance?

Need to make sure it is 922(r) compliant. Search around here or Google. SKSs modification is tricky as fud as I can see.

As far as I know, once you put that stock kit on, you create an assault weapon and run into problems because of the OAL. I'm not positive though, so other members correct me if I'm wrong

a norinco is seldom c&r so the only thing you have to comply with is 922r

so its a 10 parts game

basically what people do in other states is use a folder and a detachable and that brings the count down since a mag is 3 parts and the stock is like 2

they have us made pistons,triggers and hammers

i'm not aware of any individual 922r violations charged by the atf since the infraction is the "act of assembly" not the "mere possession" of a non compliant firearm

Thanks for the response.On my sks I have a ati foldable stock that I am going to make it a fixed stock and and tapco 10 rd non detachable magazine also a USA firing pin would I still to worry about the 922r if so how many more USA do I need?
