Anybody having issues reaching Sig?

I ordered a couple of mags for the 522 three weeks ago. Listed as in stock on the sig store site. They charged my credit card right away and sent me an order confirmation the next day but no shipping information. No mags yet and can't get through their customer service number and no way to reach them via email.

Is this normal for them?

You should call customer service when they open in the morning or about an hour before they close. I've had one back ordered item take only an extra week to ship and one which took about 6 weeks to ship. The latter item was ordered over the phone and was giving a 30 day expectation.

Thanks. I decided to buckle down and take the time to reach them. Six cll attempts later after being dumped into their voicemail 5 times, I was able to reach someone who, without asking what I ordered, told me that definitely will be at least 6 to 8 weeks to ship.

I asked her why the email order confirmation couldn't tell me that and she couldn't answer. Since they've already charged me for the products, I guess I'll be waiting for awhile.

My impression is that their website and ordering system is not very sophisticated. If you get impatient, you should not have any trouble (other than getting through on the phone) canceling and getting a refund.

I gathered that from the experience : ). Probably one old guy and a dog back there handling things.

It's cool. I'll wait for the mags. I need them and it wasn't a major purchase. Maybe I'll get them around the same time I'll be able to find ammunition to fire anyway.

I talk to Aaron when I call Sig, hes a great guy and can help you out. Things are crazy right now with gun mfg companies, you just have to be patient.
