peice of cake! i just set mine on the front lawn, spray it down with simple green and hose the crap outta it...works fine all the time.
on that note, i been wondering what this reddish stuff is on my barrel...anyone come accross this before?

Thanks Bandito! Run some patches...check for filings and a general wipe down is what I was thinking. Any useful experience would be helpful.

Does it kind of look like dried tomato sauce? That's cosmoline. Should come off with some CLP. People use other solvents as well, or let it 'sweat' out with a steamer or under the sun, which probably won't be effective this time of year. Youtube has a bunch of different methods to remove it.
