Howdy ya'll!
I just visited an old friend of mine and while we were talking about guns, he mentioned to me that he purchased in the spur of the moment -- 12 to 18 years ago (he doesn't remember exactly anymore when) -- a small 1953 Beretta semi-automatic in 6.35mm (supposedly converts to 0.25 auto).
(It's just like this, but much, much cleaner: http://www.flickriver.com/photos/jimmysmith/2155900351/
He never shot it, just put it away in his closet and forgot about it. He wants to sell it for whatever it's worth, but since he never had it registered, bought it cash, he's not sure on how to do that without getting in trouble. He could have a LEO transport it to a state where it's legal to do cash-and-carry transactions, but that seems too much trouble for a gun that's worth not that much. What would you suggest for him to do?
Thanks.
