i'm looking for any residents of the above mentioned areas to ask a few questions about the area.

    anyone?
If you suck with irons you will suck with optics. The difference is the aimpoint will allow you to suck faster and a scope will give you a closer look at how much you suck.

Post your questions here... someone will be along to answer them in no time.

The added benefit is other people can learn from your questions.

the question is regarding a 'shooting spot'...so i'd rather not do it on the public forum.
i really hate having to be 'this way' about a spot that is public to all, but unfortunately, my brother, my son and I work extremely hard to keep it clean and pick up our trash/brass every single time....and we all know that wont be the case if the location falls into the wrong hands.

i'd rather just shoot a PM to the locals who respond.
hope no one takes offense to this, its a true shame we have to operate this way

The Press Enterprise just had a story about a place off of the 79 that was trashed. They had to shut it down. I don't know of any other places other than Rainbow.

^^^^THIS^^^^, the Art retreat started complaining about noise and trash; research was done and found to be not BLM land.

I shot there a couple of months ago. The local PD came out and watched us shoot. We even have a couple of YouTube videos.

According to the PD, the shooting area IS BLM land. On the other hand, the entrance dirt trail that leads to the shooting area IS NOT. The dirt road is part of someone's private property.
Because the owner did not post signs or place a barrier informing the public, that the dirt road is private property, people using it to get to the shooting area were technically commiting an unintentional tresspass.

Anyways, the PD told us that every day, the owner of the property would call them about people shooting and they have to come out. It was a matter of time before it was shut down.

Too bad.... it was a nice spot. I think BeeCanyon is still open for shooting.
