Just watched a video clip of Joe Biden carrying on about how if you are under attack you are better off with a shotgun than an AR-15.

I guess the military is going to save a lot of money now after they equip the troops with Mossbergs or Remingtons.

Typical responses. Many of the discussions I see on these boards regarding home defense state forcefully that the only reason to have a handgun or an AR for that matter is to have enough time to get to your SHOTGUN in home defense situations.

His statement was in reference to a question asked by a person referring to being under siege during civil unrest like when the Koreans defended themselves during the Watts riots. Hence my military analogy.
