Buying ammo is such a rush!

So I've been wanting to get ahold of some .22lr for quite some time since I only got a couple thousand rounds left. I would constantly be checking websites about every half our or less to see if some bulk ammo would show up. I did notice that it would go so quick that even in my constant checking I would only manage to get to see the sold out in the availability box. But today I got a break. I was going back and forth through various sites when I managed to find 58 cases of CCI SV available. Needless to say I hoped on it immediatly. During the time that it took me to place my order(probably a minute) it sold out. I don't know but I got a rush out of that. I even poured myself some whisky to calm my nerves. I guess their are a lot of guys like me just waiting to jump on a deal.

I totally know what you mean, my first CCI .22 LR 40 GR SV 5k arrived yesterday and last week I scored another 5k of Eley .22 LR 40 GR 5K. At least if my 22LR stash is above 10k, I can breathe a little easier but it is never enough. You have to be so quick that when the notice comes, you must respond generally within a minute or two. I didn't even realize that I bought the Eley, I just hit "buy" and then looked at what I bought afterwards. I only put in the notifications on ammo I really wanted so I know if one of those e-mails shows up, jump on it. I bought one with my Phone while I was in Target shopping, I knew if I waited to get home, it would be sold out. .22LR is the new .223 as far as availability, hard to find.

If I had 50k of .22LR, I would rest easy. At the rate I go shooting, that would last me and my son probably the rest of my shooting life.
