    They'll all be confiscated.

True wealth is time. Time to enjoy life.

Life's journey is not to arrive safely in a well preserved body, but rather to slide in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy schit...what a ride"!!

No, they won't be confiscated. They'll be treated like California's past ban worked.

The gun will become a registered non transferable aw and forfeited to the state at time of death.

But... Her bill is not going to pass so stop worrying about it.

There will be a huge market for dummy gun receivers, so people can at least hang the gun above the fireplace mantle.

There will be some that register and others that will not. There will not be enough sufficient man power to force registry, so they'll prey on the weak and hope as many come in to register as possible

They already are paperweights, what with the 'ammo shortage everywhere. If politicians actually had a clue they'd focus on banning/restricting/legislating 'ammo, not the guns...

I hate this "wait and see period" even though not being stagnant and writing your congressmen and senators and letting your voice be heard, it seems like some kind of ban is going to pass, at least up to par with California. The mags are the lowest fruit on the tree and that's what is the easiest the get at. If its not federal they will try state by state one at a time just like they did with NY.

Very good point. I put my money where my mouth is and just wrote my US congressman to voice my opinion. And, may I add that I did it with respect of his office. No crazy threats, no "gun-nut" comments, etc.
