Any sign that they will decline in the next few months?

Good question. I would assume that every 06 FFL out there would be running 24/7 just for the cash if nothing else, which would eventually reintroduce supply which would match or exceed demand.....however, and this is the only example I have of odd: I know a salesmen for WA Murphy, a large powder distributor, who claims the ATF, put a recent limit on their daily shipping poundage of powder. I can only take what he told me on faith, but I've known the guy for 15 years, but it might help explain why every shop I've been in that sells powders says they can't get it, or its trickling in. Perhaps the same thing has or will happen to 06's and therefore the continued shortage. I have noticed that Every ammo place I frequent, isn't low on ammo, or has it trickling in, they can't get it! Very suspicious. Thoughts?

Things may drop down, but not to the pre panic pricing that we had before.

        That's what worries me too!

Gas, food, bullets; everything will go up in price eventually...

I think that avid shooting will become the sport of the wealthy. Sure, we will all be able to shoot on occasion, but the days of shooting 700 rounds of 5.56 in a session have come to an end for all but the most well off unless you have a huge stash of ammo and or reloading gear.

I don't know if ammo prices will come down very much, it will all depend on which bills are passed. If the De Leon ammo bill is passed here, I don't see how we will ever have inexpensive ammo again, that will cut out 80% of the competition in the market, no more Internet sales?

Word around the camp fire on PMC, is that with North Koreans flexing on the southies , the southies are Slowing export of ammo. So there may some time till we see cases of PMC ( my fav cheaper ammo) stacking up in shops and online retailers.

A bunch of factors are playing a role with ammo.

Government bulk purchases, well over a billion rds.
Government selling brass to china, instead of back to the manufacturers.
Buying craze in the civi market.
                More I'm sure.
