    Tyler T-Grip

Has anyone had any recent experience with Tyler Manufacturing - makers of the Tyler T-Grip adapter? There has been a lot of negative internet chatter over the past two years after the original owner died. The family tried to make a go of it, but cashed checks and unfilled orders abounded.
Last update on their website was October 2112 claiming things were under control and orders were being shipped in a timely manner. However, they don't do phone or internet orders, only orders sent to their P.O. Box in Oklahoma City. I called their number and left a message - no reply. Sent an email- no reply.
T-grips are an awsome product and a must have for any old school (or new school) j-frame owners.
It was only $25, so I took a chance and sent in my order with a postal money order sent certified mail, signature required. It arrived at their p.o. box on 1/16/13 and so far is unclaimed. Have I been Okey Doked?

      3516,

The last time I bought a Tyler grip was long ago using the internet. They sent my order in a timely manner and no issues what so ever. Too bad the owner passed away but as it seems they're back in the game now. They're grrips are fantastic and are better sometime than replacing the entire wooden grip of my revolvers!

In your case since it went to a PO Box and sent certified you have to understand things are not too good with the Post Office these days. In the future be a little cautious. No one hasn't received your certified yet cuz no one hasn't checked the mail box yet. Give them a couple weeks more and then if necessary file a claim with the Post Office. You might consider sending them a letter confirming your order to cover yourself.
