    Seized Firearm Auctions?

Has anyone been to one? What is the selection usually like? How big are the crowds? What are the prices like?

It would be interesting in buying firearms that once were in the hands of criminals, it'd give the gun a story to tell...

I maybe wrong but... I'm pretty sure you need to have an FFL to purchase from those types of auctions.

You need an FFL and a stack of cash. They sell large lots of guns

Would a C&R FFL quality? Or do you have to be a dealer?

Most seized firearms are destroyed. At least, pretty much all seized guns in California are seized.

There are a ton of auctions for guns at auction houses, but those are usually estate type sales and happen every few days.
