So I finally convinced my mom to give up her Desert Eagle .50.

I told her that she can transfer that from GA out here to me and the DOJ says that is OK but I forgot to ask whether or not it has to be CA compliant.

Most of the local shops are hesitant to accept this handgun but a few have done the research and actually called the DOJ to confirm.

Thing is, I don't know anyone who has don the family transfer into the state so what do I do now? does she send a note? do I have to fly her out?
