    Any youth shooting programs?

    Is there any youth shooting groups/programs in the San Jose area that I could take my son to?
    Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
    Let my aim be true and my hand faster
    than those who would seek to destroy me.
    Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
    Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
    And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.

      Second Saturday of the month. New shooter must arrive at 0830 hrs for safety class. Returning shooters at 0900 hrs.
      For children 10-18 years old to learn to shoot safely. We supply the ammunition and the rifles.
      A parent or guardian must stay with the child.

      Just do what M Sage and others have said to do, they know what theyr talkin about. Just dont urinate in your barrel and expect ur rifle to be ok. My buddy and I recently went shooting and he shot corrosive yugo ammo through his Mosin and figured he could just piss in the barrel and call it a day. Several days later the bolt was rusted shut but I guess the fouling wasnt TOO bad.

          On May 17th there will be a "Youth Shoot Extravaganza" at coyote valley sporting clays. Its from 9:00am to 5:00pm and will include a shotgun shoot, archery, BB gun & duck calling event plus more. Registration @ 9:00am, Lunch @ 12:30. $30 kids, $15 adults includes lunch. Limited to first 150 shooters registered. 408-691-6785
