ATF has a BIG problem with using a button and electronics to fire a semi-automatic firearm. It's incredibly easy just by adjusting a couple lines of code to make that semi-auto into a full auto, which makes it a machine gun. And don't bother bringing up the part about "readily convertible" and burn-once chips - if you've got the facility to create those and put 'em on the board, then you've also got the facility to "readily convert" those with a different chip.
