Short Barrel for Rem 870

Since I have a rem 870 express, would I be able to buy a "security barrel" and swap it out?

Does that even exist?

get a used bbl and cut it down.
cant fint one? get a cheap 870 at a pawn shop. chop it's bbl and sell the reciever. you'll prolly end up with a free bbl. i did just that

Mossberg made/makes a cheap 18.5 inch barrel for the 870. Works great.
