    UPS, train derailments, and Bohica.

So... so far I know of 3 people in California that are expecting Bohica uppers this week. All three of them haven't got their uppers yet because of two seperate "train derailments" according to UPS. Both of them, exactly 24 hours apart, at exactly 6pm. Nobody will tell me any information on the derailment and nothing has been on the news about it. They say that my package is "moving" and actively being "scanned" but they don't know the exact location of it
Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.

than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.

I also had a couple items on the same train. UPS said, the delay was caused by a train derailment.
Just checked the UPS web site, says my package was delivered

When was your stuff originally expected to be delivered?

Man if I would have know that I would of stopped my train to see if I could find some extra uppers. With the derailment they slowed me down to 10 mph anyways. Just kidding but with all the rerouting due to derailments weve had its taking forever to get from pointe a to b. Good luck!

strange, had the same thing happen to me a couple weeks ago with some Fed HST ammo:

it ended up being delivered on the scheduled day, with no tracking updates until it was delivered.

I got my train delayed rivets earlier today, uhh yesterday. Damn it's late.

I'd like to know which train. It's like air freight weather delays where the weather is perfect at both ends. Probably just someones new favorite excuse. After all, who can complain about a derailing?

I work for BNSF railroad and I heard at work there was a pretty big derailment near Seligman Az. that took out both main lines. We haul alot of UPS so thaty might be where the problem is. Look at the bottom of this page. http://www.trainorders.com/discussio....php?1,1629220 Mark

I would edit out your tracking number. UPS has some pretty liberal change of delivery address procedures.

They had a second derailment at Wickland out by Nantucket that was froging stuff up. Also Re-routing takes time and finding qualified DOT rested crews ( as they work them into the ground ) is hard. It ends up being like a funnel but usually that UPS Z train is in constant motion. I work passenger service and they held me out for an hour for a z train they were running around every one last week.
