    Walmart Ammo Avail Thread

I've mentioned this in a post last night that was claiming Walmart was not selling ammo anymore. But it did remind me of a thread we had during "The Last Great Ammo Winter"(2009ish?), where people could update the thread with what their local Walmart had available in terms of ammo.
Granted, pickings are fairly slim right now, but I've been seeing it slowly come back. I think this would be a worthwhile endeavor considering some of the price gouging we've been witness to. Get more info out on decently priced ammo, maybe people will start to price their items at a more realistic price( i.e. saw a listing on Craigslist here in SD selling M193 FOR $1.80 A ROUND!)
If this takes off, great. If not, well I guess it will just drown into the rest of the dead threads.

    To kick it off:
Walmart off Aero Dr. in SD had a fair amount of .380 in varying loads, .410, and .22-250. Not much but if you're looking for any of those check it out.

As of yesterday the store in Stevenson Ranch, and both in Santa Clarita had nothing more than what you described for the one in SD aside from the 12 gauge bird shot was still available at the one on Kelly Johnson Parkway. I bought the last box of Tulammo 9mm any of them had.

However, while I was on my mission, I met an employee from Oak Tree Gun Club and he said they were still stocked up on the more common calibers (.223 was on its way). I went and bought a couple 50 round bags of their 9mm handloads/reloads, which shoot great from my experience. They all went bang and felt consistent when I've shot them at steel.

I was at the Big 5 yesterday in Valencia on Magic Mountain Parkway and they were expecting a shipment of .223 this morning - 1/17/13. He had said it was the Winchester brand priced under $20 a box. Also expected some of the .22 bucket o' bullets from Remington at $80. I'm willing to bet it's all gone by now.

WalMart in Orange: Ammo case is completely empty. Only a few boxes of 30-06, .357, (1) CCI short, all behind the cashier counter. And various shotgun ammo.

WalMart in Oxnard today as of 2:13 PM PST.

About two dozen boxes of various .243, one box of .25-06, quite a few boxes of .380. That's it. Oh yeah, and a lot of shotgun ammo, they have the 200 packs of the Winchester Universal (Trap Loads) with #8s for $50.97, not a bad price.

                  No .22, no .223, no .45 ACP, no 9mm, no 7.62x39.

Glad to see this is actually kinda going somewhere. Yeah the calibers are all over the map, but hey, you know someone could use it.

Walmart Milpitas has .22LR for prefrenzy price. I availed myself of a case of 2250 to bring home from my business trip.

I was at a few Walmarts in Clark County Nevada a couple weeks ago and the only ammo available was .20 gauge. The local ranges like The Range and Guns and Ammo Garage had factory 9mm, .40, .45 (but no reloads funny enough).

Here's that old WalMart Ammo Thread

Taste the despair of empty shelves, the joy of finding 50 rounds of .45ACP after looking for two months.

Better not bring that old thread back, let's just go with this one.

Just got back from Walmart in Orange again. Somehow 8 boxes of Winchester .40SW 100pk appeared in the case. Tempting, but I passed.
