1910 Maxim

When I was a young man.. I met an old fellow in my very small town who had an amazing gun collection. I was one of the very few people that was a friend.. He came home from Vietnam a bit troubled and was a loner..... One of his guns is a 1910 Maxim.. the one on the small wheels..

So I found out a few days ago he has passed away....

My friend will be dearly missed.....

I also have not seen him in several years as his health went downhill he didnt like guests so the guns may be long gone.

The million dollar question is what will happened to his collection... I know he left a will and gave the guns to different people.. I dont know who gets what.

What is the best thing to do with a gun like a Maxim.. or a MP40.. in todays times??

I hope his family can donate them to a museum or something like that..

Welp. A lot of it is going to depend on; Where the firearms are located, Are they semi automatic or fully automatic, If they are fully automatic are they registered as such?

Those historic pices of machinery will be lost to the goverment if not properly filed before his death.

I know that its FA.. they all were.. And I doubt that he would have done the paperwork... He was in a forever battle about even paying taxes.. He was living in AZ.. but they could be anywhere.. Sad to think they could end up being scrap metal...
