Just got off the phone with LAR. I was trying to buy another OPS 4 left side charge upper receiver.
They said Remington bought them out in late November.
The way of doing business has gone from a small shop to corporate nonsense!
You now need a FFL to order a upper receiver. Just STOOPID!
LAR were good people. Small, answered phones without a menu, gave great advice and would take their time.
If you don't know LAR, they made lowers for many larger well-known name brands, DPMS, Bushmaster.
LAR said they sold out of 18 months worth of AR parts in just the few days after the election.
