FL CCW, fingerprints in LA?

For those that have done this in the LA area, where did you go to get fingerprinted? Do you just bring the print card with you and ask? What about LiveScan? I'd rather do that since it's a bit faster.

Does it have to be a LEO for the FL CCW?
If not I know of 2 places in the Valley that does livescan and one of them also role the old fashion way.

Read the instructions that come with the application.

If it hasn't changed since last year, they will not accept livescans for non-FL resident applications.

As far as where to get have a fingerprint card processed, call the police departments in your area, specifically the records desk.

Must be done by LEO and make sure the person taking the prints signs the card. There should be a line at the top of the card.
