Do we have any reenactors at Calguns?

The Airsoft Reenactors Group will be hosting a Vietnam Reenactment this April.

I was wondering if any Calguners are reenactors?
If so what do you reenact?

        I don't, but I wish I could...

I saw some Civil War reenactors once and it looked like the coolest f-ing hobby in the world. I'm a history buff (and a history major), and the Civil War is my favorite thing to study. Once I retire in fifty years or so, I'm there!

Is there anywhere in the Norcal/Bay Area we (bystanders) can go and watch some reenactments from the sidelines? I've never been to one of any genre, would be interested in checking one or two out...

I've been to a civil war reenactment and watched it...

But I've never heard of spectators for WWII or Vietnam reenactments.

I've gone to one in Fremont a couple times. It was at Ardenwood Farm.

Great, thanks - I found last year's flyer:

I'll try and remember come August time to go out and watch!

Pleasanton Highland Games, Labor Day weekend

The Highland Games in Pleasanton over the Labor Day weekend always have a lot of reenactors, ranging from Romans / Celts up to WW II at least, with several groups covering the muzzle loading era. They are very easy to talk with, glad to show off their toys, explain all you ever wanted to know, and if that isn't enough, you also get unlimited bagpipe music and get to watch big guys in skirts tossing telephone poles end over end. What more could you ask for!
Mention the Deacons for Defense and Justice and make both left and right wingnuts squirm
