NO you made an assumption, and you never asked to see my ID, you chose to make threats, by the way I never said anything about San Mateo PD or SO, I started to say in San Mateo County before you started some non-sense rant about San Francisco, and San Mateo cops thinking they know it all. Why not post a pic of the sales receipt? Since the op doesn't seem to have it maybe Brentwood could post it. If it says 650 then the store is full if bs and if its 550 then the op is full if bs. Pretty simple really.

Well let me remind you of something you cut me off before I could finish my sentence. I have never worked for San Mateo SO, nor do I claim to hold a job I retired from several years ago. NO I never went on Yelp and posted a word about your business. You may want to check the name and location of the person who posted it, because it is not me. I did start this thread to hopefully help someone else avoid what I experienced. I don't do internet reviews of business on Yelp Facebook. I have already admitted that I should have payed closer attention, and should not taken someone at their word, lesson learned, customer lost.
If you had asked to see my ID I would have shown it to you as a courtesy to the business owner since I was armed at the time, but the plain and simple truth is you never asked.
I am sorry that it came to this and could have been avoided with a calm reasonable conversation at the time. I do think there were mistakes made on both sides of the counter that day.

I've bought many more things at BA and have been very happy with them since this thread got going. In everything, they have come across as good and honest people. It sounds like they're pretty up front with being willing to share everything with the seller and with those here at Calguns. If you signed a contract that you didn't read or understand, it seems pretty hard to blame Brentwood Armory.

It is also amazing to me that you're claiming you never went to slander them/give your side of the story on yelp. I looked them up on Yelp, and sure enough, someone with your ranting and raving writing style describes the exact situation you experienced. There is no way that review isn't you. It is becoming pretty clear to me that of the three versions of what happened, BA is pretty closer to the truth.

I'd still like to see the contract, but just the fact that BA is willing to show it to anyone is good enough for me. I don't care enough to need to follow through on that.

Have you perhaps heard of cut and paste? I don't deny that what is there is nearly an exact quote of my original post, (since I looked it up also) however I did not put it there, and I have no idea who did. You may want to look at the yelp profile of the person who copied the post to that site. You will see 3 reviews of gun shops 2 of them I have never even heard of, let alone been to.

We have the right to not show the receipt to the seller, due to buyer information being on the receipt ie Name, Phone #, etc. Consignment Contract is the legal binding contract which is all he needs.
