Fobus Roto Low Ride Option

Have a S&W 686 +P and love shooting it. Bought a Fobus Roto holster last year for it and I do like it. It is on the paddle and would like to move it down into a low ride position. iTAC makes a Lowride Belt Loop and so does IMI, but Fobus for some reason doesn't. Does anyone know if the Fobus roto will fit either the iTAC or IMI units? Also thinking about finding an old broken Fobus Roto holster and taking the roto plate off and making my own. Thanks

I have spoken with Fobus directly and they do not have a low ride option but will consider developing one. In the meantime I made my own. Since it's for the range it doesn't have to be great. I picked up a web belt and stuck some Velcro strips on both the paddle and the belt. Secured the holster paddle in place on the velcro and drilled small holes in 4 corners. Secured the paddle in place with zip ties. The roto unit let the revolver flop a little too much so I drilled out the back of the paddle to match the 2 open holes in the front and ran another zip tie through it. Works great.

Good idea to use zip ties because baling wire can be scratchy.
