At the Walmart I go to, Birdshot is on the shelves, but buckshot (federal brand) is behind the counter.

They have OO at my Walmart. You have to find it though because the workers don't know what the hell it is.

Dont get Winchester Universal brand shells, they jam in my 870 every time and have gotten a bad rap. I have had a good experience with the federal birdshot though.

For value pack birdshot ammo, I prefer the Federal value packs over Remington and winchster.

Same here. Not bad for the price and I used it every week when I used to trap shoot. Ill have to look for a new shotgun when I get the money to trap/hunt with. They should carry buckshot as well, most likely behind the counter like another member stated. Make sure you point ti out to them, they are not too good on knowing such and such for guns. I ended up going to big-5 to get my hunting license because they obviously did not know anything about an affidavit. Oh well, can not beat the prices though, well sometimes.

I was just there the other day to buy ammo I shot off today. Picked up 2 10 packs of Federal 1 oz rifled slugs, and 2 5 packs of Federal 3" 00 buck. The guy there actually seemed to know what he was talking about, although I knew exactly what I wanted...
Was a good time at the range, took all that and some left over 7 1/2 from last time. Had some buddies with me who hadn't shot my 870 yet, so that was cool.
