Has anybody tried these earplugs?

I usually use muffs. But I'm kind of interested in something that will lower the sound levels and protect my ear but still allow me to hear other noises in the environment. What kind of ear protection do you all use?

I bought similar ear plug made by Silencio, only problem is that it is too big for my ear canal and it hurts to leave it in. I didn't have chance to test it out against gun sound. I just tried it on after I bought and put away.

I prefer electronic earmuffs.

I use regular softies or Surefire earplugs. However, I am a bad shooter and only wear them when shooting indoors.

IIRC good foam plugs are generally more effective and less susceptible to improper function than shaped or rigid plugs. I use Howard Leight disposable foam plugs with the highest NRR (noise reduction rating 33). Go with NRR 30/33 foam plugs from any reputable maker - they're cheap and effective.

Double up with electronic muffs for extra protection. If you turn the volume up, you can hear just fine even with earplugs in between shots (the mic will turn off during shots). I use Howard Leight Impact Sport, but that's mainly because it's economical and fairly low profile.

I use the Silencio earplugs no problem. When I enter an indoor range, I double up with a muff.
