Private party transfers question

So I'm new to owning a handgun as of 28 days ago and counting. As I can't wait to purchase another glock. But my question is, does the 10 day waiting period apply to private party transfers. All replies would be appreciated. Thanks.

To my knowledge the 10 day period does NOT apply to PPT. Buy to your hearts content.

Can't edit my previous post since I'm on my phone, but I believe that it's the 1 in 30 limit that doesn't apply to PPT's.

Except inside the City of Los Angeles, PPT is exempt from 1 handgun in 30 days.

He's right. You buy a handgun today from a store, you have to wait 10 days and can't buy another handgun for 30 day after from a store but you can buy one from a private party transfer within the 30 day waiting period. The ppt handgun has to go through the same dros process and the 10 day waiting period just like the handgun purchased through a gun store.
