This is caused by ammo now qualifying for government union jobs, so 5 cartridges sit around not working while they all watch one work. End result is a 5/6 FTF rate, and the ones that do fire are too fat now so the expanded cases cause FTE issues.

They are also going to mandate the new "smart bullet" technology later this year. It's a bullet that will only fire if you have enough mental capacity to not injure yourself or anyone else. My guess is there will be a lot of guns that suddenly just won't work anymore.

              Jesus, guys lighten up.
A few years back there were studies about how to put "taggants" in batches of gunpowder to assist in tracking ammunition used in crimes. The powder companies killed it because it might have caused instability in the powder INCLUDING deterioration of the powder.
That somebody wants a way to render your ammunition inert is entirely plausible.
Whether they can do it is unlikely

No. The new powder prevents the gun from being fired if it is held sideways.

Only in CA, in line with the new ammo reporting requirements and prohibition on ammo web orders.

I assume you've got a link or 2 for that??

Interested in the "explosive ammo bullets" stuff too.

Funny how these stupid rumors start; then they start spreading eventually repeated as 'FACT'.

Somewhere along the line, friend of mine changes to a guy who works for Federal Ammo..etc....

The evolution of a rumor is fun to track.
