Had a PPT set up to meet Faith Armory, I'm the seller coming from San Diego, buyer is coming from No. Hollywood. I called there # at 1PM which is when they open on Sundays. Answering mac,. BLAH BLAH, Buyer does the Same BLah Blah. Can't talk to a human.

They show to be open on Sundays 1 - 5 PM. I get there early decide to go in and look around, was interested in a SS 1911 TRP but didn't see any. Finally some one says can I help you. Told them I was here for a PPT. Oh no we can't do that today, to busy. But Steelwater Firearms can do it for you. There around the corner and down the block.

Buyer has one of those fancy phones and finds Steelwater and the directions from Faith Armory. We walk in and are greeted and ask if they could help. DROS started immediately.

I was really hoping Faith had the TRP so I could tell them to stuff it! If I ever do business in that area again it will be with Steelwater.

Faith can take a flying leap for all I care.

I got the same attitude from Faith. I walked in looking for a G19. I asked if they had any G19's. They said no and weren't sure of when they would have any, and left it at that. I thanked them and left.

I went to Steelwater and waited my turn, and when I was helped I asked the same question. They didn't have any but took the time to show me other options (XD, M&P, and the G23).

I really appreciated the time that Steelwater took to help me find what I wanted. Faith used to be the go-to shop about a year or two back but I guess they have gotten sloppy. I'm glad that more shops are opening up...

Anything is better than The Shootist!!

I would take the attitude with selction at the shootist rather than a small selection and unimpressive customer service at Faith.

Faith armory gave me the same song & dance about doing a PPT on a Sunday the first and LAST time I went there.

I traded guns with another Calgunner several months ago and he wanted to use Faith. We showed up there and they were closed, a note on the door said something about dove hunting as I recall. We went around the corner to Steelwater and they took care of us pretty quickly.

I have always liked Zoli (The owner). Their prices are a little bit more than faith, but they make up for it in their customer service. Im all about customer service. Everytime I walk into Steelwater, you get a hello before you even breach the door. Faith - Good luck even getting that "can i help you?"

BTW for all those in temecula/Murrieta and surrounding areas....a little bird told me that ammo brothers is moving down this way

They were nice to me but that sucks you had to go through that.

The Shootist always gets my business and I travel from Whittier. Wouldnt step foot in Faith just from what I have heard of them from day one. Alamo jewelery and loan is where I go when I need it fast, it's closer and they are great.

I've had a decent experience at Faith the few times I've been in there.


Never heard of Steelwater though. I'll have to check them out!
