Please folks, let's be careful about discussing details of any legislation, how it might be circumvented or what it does or does not cover. We've seen legislative staffs trolling this and other gun forums in CA for just that sort of info and using it to draft stronger and broader legislation. Thankfully Sen. Ye e's asinine bill wasn't passed, but it didn't miss by much.
Let's not give the anti's the ammo (figuratively speaking) to use against us.
This doesn't mean we don't fight tooth and nail by direct communication to the legislature, joining and helping advocacy groups, and debunking myths and lies at the grassroots level, but we ought to be mindful of what sort of info we might be publishing to the web.
