Where to buy gun case "foam"

I just scored a Pelican 1500 hardcase and need to replace the foam inside so that I can turn it into a gun case.

Does anyone know where I can buy this foam locally in the bay area, preferably east bay?

Yes, I've checked Ebay and can get it there, but would rather just buy some locally.

Any help would surely be appreciated.

Maybe call up House of Foam in Palo Alto? http://www.houseoffoam.net/

I'd buy online if I were in your shoes.

You can also try using foam from old couches/chairs or the like and custom cut it yourself. It may not be as neat/pretty, but possibly free.

These guys usually have pretty good prices but, in particular, they offer closed cell foam which many others don't. Personally, I find the closed cell easier to cut. And, of course, closed cell doesn't hold moisture like open cell does.
