Nevada gun shop visit

I made my first visit to a NV gun shop in years outside of Cabela's.

Went to one in Minden and introduced myself as a future customer as the family will have completely moved by June.

We talked for a while and they started handing me several long guns: FN FAL, Galil, HK91, and a 91 clone.

They had a few ARs on the wall and s couple o AK variants.

This was Guns and Arrows. I'll hit up Bullseye and High Sierra tomorrow before I head back to Sacramento.

HK91: $4200
Galil: $4800
SP89: he said he sold one in 3 days for $8000 after paying $5000 for it.

ARs were $1400-1700. 91 clone was $1800.

Well...those aren't really BAD prices for AR's, depending on the make and pieces of course...

Retiring from current work and hoping to find work in Carson Valley.

Wife is already in Minden and works in Tahoe. Her side of the family is in Minden and Gsrdnerville.

We have an offer on a short sale home and waiting for the seller's bank to approve.

I'll see if I can post a pic I took from yesterday of the view from the backyard of the house.

If you need to discuss what areas to buy, let me know. We looked for 5 months and made offers on two. One would not budge on his asking price and the other is the one we are waiting on the short sale approval. I can also recommend an RE firm/agent and a mortgage company.
