I was recently looking at their Strikefire red dot scope, and today, they posted more about themselves. Sounds like a great company with a good folks there!

I can't comment on scopes or red-dots, but their binoculars are the low end (price and quality) that we carry at the shop I work at, below Pentax and Nikon. The quality is a little better than the prices would indicate, but not a lot. and...Vortex has its optics built in factories in Japan, China, Taiwan, Korea and the Philippines, and Sam and Dan travel to them to maintain good working relationships and to reinforce how committed the company is to giving customers the best value it can at different price points.
I'm going to keep supporting people who live and work in the USA, so I'll be staying away from these....Vortex Optics has used factories in Japan, the Philippines, Korea and Taiwan, as well as Japanese-managed factories on mainland China, to build the binoculars and spotting scopes.Originally posted by FallingDownComment
