Add me to the list of CTD haters. I'm building my first AR. I flipped through a catalog of theirs that a buddy at work had and decided to order one for myself. I checked out their website and realized that they won't ship ANYTHING to California. We have enough headaches to deal with in this state to give money to vendors that won't sell us legal items. Their catalog will be going straight in the trash when I get it.
Glad I learned how lame they are before I gave them a penny of my hard earned money.

He must not have seen the USGI mag for $99 at CTD. If you think that is bad you need to go back to 1999 before the CA Assault weapon ban. AK mags were $30, Junk after market AR mags $30. Thermold mags $35, G-3 mags $40+, ***USED USGI MAGS **** $60 each. These were local OC/LA county prices. If you figure in 13 years of inflation the prices aren't that bad. The prices did go back down in 2000 because 10% of the US market couldnt buy them any more.

While Cabelas honored their pre-panic prices on 223 and even let me backorder at those prices, CTD has risen their prices by 4 to 6 TIMES the pre-panic prices. I will never shop CTD again.
