Is this true about Glock?

    Is this true about Glock?

    I went to a local gun store today and was told that Glock's were most likely no longer going to be allowed in CA for sale, Due to they started manufacturing them here in the states and were not approved by CA. The only ones approved by CA were the pistols manufactured overseas. Was told that it was a big screw up and Glock might be out because they are going to have to put chamber indicators and mag safeties on their pistols to requalify. Also that the ones made in the states were sold here in Ca, but were not suppose to be since they did not get one to safety test from the plant that makes them here.




    Is this true or has anyone heard about this issue yet?

          False rumor, recently disproved over on a large Glock webboard. Poster was trying to drum up sales of stuff he had in stock at large prices...

              They talking about Gen 4 Glocks? They are not on the list and need to be SSE to purchase and LEO can still purchase them so FFL's can still get them so maybe you can't buy one outright but CA still gets them.

                                      Actually to counter all the "FUD", I heard this from my LGS today as well, same exact story. So either the FUD spreads like wildfire across dealers, or it might be true.

                                                  No matter how many times it gets posted, if it doesn't come directly from Glock, it's false.
