    Current DSHK Kit Value

What do you all think the the current value of a Polish DSHK kit would be during all this panic buying and in a normal non hectic market?

If my answers frighten you then you should cease asking scary questions.

The drilled barrel kits originally sold for $400, but that time is long past. Was going to say $3000 or so for a live barrel kit, but that was before the price madness started. Who knows now?

I would think you are looking at at least $1500 for a drilled barrel kit, IF you can find one.

...and if you can find a buyer, and/or a jig.
Dennis is not plugging / repairing barrels for 50 BMG for people anymore that don't have him build the gun.
Without a whole barrel, it isn't worth that much.
People are panic buying AR's, not DSHKs.

10/2011 - $1500 sold gunbroker, demilled barrel, bad receiver cuts,
12/2011 - $1850 sold calguns, demilled barrel, ok cuts, + jig and semi parts
11/2011 - $2275 asking gunbroker, no bids, good cuts, demilled barrel
4/2012 - $3K asking on sturm, don't think it sold, demilled barrel, ok cuts
1/2012 - $3K sold (to me) whole barrel, good cuts + accessories
10/2014 - $4K sold gunbroker, RUSSIAN, whole barrel, awesome cuts (should have bought it)

kinda a rare bird. very small target audience. post it over on the 1919 forum or beltfed shooters. There's members over there that buy kits by the dozen, for investment purposes. Members over there have major cheddar.

When my DSHK is done, I'm going to buy a cheap beater toyota truck as an accessory for it:

Be driving up to the desert in it.

ptoguy: Of course, what was I thinking?! I must have pissed off gratuitous amounts of people by starting a thread with "dshk" in the title and not having any pics in it

As for the ammo are you looking for 12.7x99 or 12.7x108? If your'e looking for the 108 stuff I would say your best bet would be a guy named bob bowman. If anybody's got it its him and if he doesn't have it I'd bet he could find some for you. Just send him an email. He has a lot of dshk listings on gunbroker right now.

I'm in the market for a pos pick up as well just as soon as I get the cash to get my kit built
