With all the drama going on with semi-auto rifles and waiting to see what kind of legislation will be coming our way, I have decided to start squirelling away some funds for a long dreamed of firearm.
A Tactical Operations Delta Series precision rifle.
I have been wanting one for a few years now, and I have dabbled previously and enjoy that type of shooting. I like reloading precision rounds, taking notes, experimenting, and it really saves a lot of ammo.
You know, One shot, one piece of paper.
I presently have a Tikka T3 Tactical which IMO is a nice rig, but I have been lusting for the Tac-Ops long enough to know it is not just a passing fantasy.
Besides, the anti's haven't jumped all over this category (notice I didn't refer to them as sniper rifles) of firearms yet, so it gives me enough time to save, order and recieve it.
I figure by the time all that happens, the grabbers will start carrying on about how these precision deadly weapons have no use in our society and why would anyone need a rifle that is accurate to 800+ yards.
Hopefully, things will have calmed down by then and reloading components will still be reasonable to purchase.
So, what say you? Anyone else dreaming of a new stick?
