MC999 eBay Listing Removed: Firearms, Weapons, and Knives (725443243)

    Dear crit70 (crit70@yahoo.com),

You recently listed the following listing:

    281044533160 - Ar15 Bullbarrel With Gas Block .223 /5.56 16" Fluted
    281044545281 - Ar15 Carbine Lenth Tri Handguard

Unfortunately, we had to remove your listing because of the following:

You have listed a part or an accessory for an assault weapon. eBay does not permit the sale of any assault weapon-related parts or accessories. This prohibition applies to all parts and accessories related to any firearm defined as an "assault weapon" by federal or California law.

For more details on California assault weapons law, please visit http://ag.ca.gov/firearms/awlist.htm and http://ag.ca.gov/firearms/

Having a listing removed may be inconvenient and you may not be aware of this policy. However, please be aware that future removals of this kind could result in restrictions to your account activity. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. We kindly ask that you do not relist this item.

Because of various laws and regulations on the sale of assault weapons and parts and accessories for assault weapons, we don't allow selling these items on eBay.

But you can list accessories that would fit a variety of different weapons, such as scopes, sites, and shoulder straps. If you do sell these items, you can't mention assault weapons in your listing.

Keep in mind that any listing for an item that's described as a part or an accessory for an assault weapon will be removed. Even if an item doesn't attach to an assault weapon, you still can't list it on eBay.

Here's more information on our policy:

All fees related to this listing have been credited to your account. We also notified members who placed bids on the item that the listing has been canceled

    s. this is what they said.

IIRC, they started to allow "gun parts" a while back, although I still consider them to be anti-gun. Use GunBroker

Remove "AR15" from your listing and list again.

            Problem solved.

I think ebay is sensative to listing anything ar15, ak47 or uzi, people have been having success listing under the manufacters name because it is less evil.

Yes, this is the solution - their filters automatically flag any listings with "AR", "assault rifle", etc.

If it has anything to do with an evil AR they remove it. Just went through this fiasco with them. If they don't catch it in time they then proceed to lockdown your PayPal. Not worth the risk IMHO . They can hold you're funds for up to 6 months.

Put a $125 bid on some FDE 30's knowing I wouldn't win them that "cheap" anyway. Got an e-mail 20 min later that I was outbid and another an hour later stating that the listing was removed. I wonder if this was the reason?

I didn't mention any round capacity and was removed, I called and said I'm not breaking any policy's I'm selling springs and parts. I said its people who are mad that I'm selling cheaper I asked how many people flagged my listing and he said 5.

I had sold some buy it now and all went good
