I wrote the below on facebook...lets start getting the word out...post the below on your wall!
In 1775 the revolutionary war started when the british came to take the colonists guns after the colonists had started amassing them, upset they were being taxed to death. Sound familiar? On Jan 3rd Senator from California Diane Feinstein will introduce a bill banning nearly every pistol, rifle and shotgun in the US. Its on her own website, feel free to read it. Those of us with guns can register them but as we pass, must turn them into the government. So we will be the last generation to be armed. Our forefathers understood that for democracy to work, to avoid tyranny, for it truly to be governed by the people, for the people, the government must be vulnerable to an armed populace and hence respectful of our vote. This is why they put it in our constitution as the second amendment that we shall have the right to keep and bare arms. Its not for us to own hunting weapons, it is for us to be able to stand up to our government if it ever becomes necessary. Letting ourselves be de armed empowers our government to do whatever it wants, when it wants. Read your history on what governments have done to non armed populations...the reason nothing like Stalin/Hitler/Mao etc has not happened here is because us as a people would never allow it. If Diane Feinstein succeeds, we will be powerless to stop it, if it does. Please LIKE if you understand this, and please call your local congressman/senator and tell them To vote NO.
