    Best 123 batts......

Curious on who thinks what of surefire vs.duracell vs.etc.

What have you found to be the best, longest lasting 123 battery for tactical flashlights.

Thank you for your time and perspective.

I'm quite happy with Battery Station:

There's some speculation that these are the same cells that Surefire uses. Not sure if that's true or not. They also offer a discount if you're a Candle Power Forums member.

If your torch is dual cell then you should look into getting a 17650 it replaces two 123's.
          Eagletac usa has them.

currently using two energizer cr123. came in a 6 pack off of amazon within the last year. if it matters to you, the label says the batteries are made in china but the actual label on the box as made in the usa.

my experience with cheap chinese batteries in the last few years can be summed up as not good (they often come with stuff). most didn't last long enough, didn't have enough voltage or current, and a few leaked and it was a huge hassle to clean everything out (although it can potentially flat out kill your electronics). i have only had us made batteries or chinese made batteries for big us battery companies (ie energizer) leak once on me ever.

also what above said with 17xxx series batteries to replace 123's in series.
