Need Help Assembling an AR-15 Stripped Lower in the IE

    Evening Gentlemen!

Like the title says, I am looking for someone experienced to build my new AR lower in the IE area. This is my first AR build and want someone to assemble it properly while minimizing scratching of the receiver.

Any referrals or recommendations is hugely appreciated.

    Parts to be assembled:
    Noveske Gen 1 stripped lower
DPMS AR-15 Receiver Lower Parts Kit
ATI AR-15 Aluminum Mil-Spec Buffer Tube Package Black

    Thanks,
    -Sleeved

I'd help you but I'm in Costa Mesa. Check out YouTube. There are a few assembly videos that are quite helpful. Other than that, just take your time and be gentle.

If you have any kind of mechanical ability you should do it yourself, here are a couple of links for you:

Hint: the disconnector spring is wider on one end, the wider end must go down into the trigger assembly or the disconnector can hang up and not function properly.

Its really not that hard I did my first one by only watching a few you tube videos If you can tie your shoes you can put a AR lower together

Where in the IE? I've got the tool to install the front takedown pin which is the hardest part of the gun to install, and it really is pretty simple

Piece of cake. You tube has plenty of follow along vids. Takes about 15- 20min to put together the lower. Just have a vice and a few small punches and a small shielded hammer. Take care with the small parts especially the springs. They can shoot across the room if your not careful

Might be a good idea to post where you are in the IE. If you're around Fontana I have all the gear.

                        A couple suggestions:
                        - take the AR armorers course at firearms training associates. When I did it there was a "build your own" session after class.
                        - scratching and leaving idiot marks is mainly a concern when installing the bolt catch or the trigger guard if you don't support the lower. Tape off around the bolt catch.
                        - the detent tool for the pivot pin is handy. It's a few bucks at midway or brownells.
                        - pin punch starters help a lot

                          YouTube bro!

Don't worry about scratching it, if ur careful you'll be fine.

                          Have a set of punches.

Knock it out and post pics!

I built my lower on the 23rd (30 Mins) with the help of youtube! Never done it before. Always wanted to. I used a regular hammer (carefully) and I used the parts kit bag to protect the receiver when hammering. I also used small screwdrivers in place of punches. Go for it man! If you ever need to replace parts, building it yourself will teach you how to replace any parts too.
