    Will AR parts be banned?

Obviously theres a chance that "assault weapons" and 30rd mags will be banned. What is the likelihood of the production of parts being put to a halt?

In other words, BCG/LPK/uppers (AKA "parts") are tough to buy right now, but in 6mo or a year should they be available again? Seems they would be tough to ban but what is the likelihood of the government creating a halt on production of parts?

All manner of parts were readily available during the time the '94 AW ban was in place.
"Did I say "republic?" By God, yes, I said "republic!" Long live the glorious republic of the United States of America. Damn democracy. It is a fraudulent term used, often by ignorant persons but no less often by intellectual fakers, to describe an infamous mixture of socialism, miscegenation, graft, confiscation of property and denial of personal rights to individuals whose virtuous principles make them offensive." - Westbrook Pegler

This. Everything was available except the lower. But this time around, it might be different.

I guess you might have time travelled out of your warranty period too.
