Do I need to register my 80% Lower?

Hi All, new to forum and this is my first post. I am in the process of building my first AR-15 and have completed my 80% lower kit. I am still waiting for the trigger kit ect...

My question is, do I need to register my lower?
I will at some point possably want to sell this to someone else which is why I really am asking this question.

If so what do I need to engrave into it to complete the process?
What I beleive I have seen shows:

Manufactuter - Would this be my own made up company?
Location - Where I live?
Model - What ever name I want to give it?
S/N - What ever S/N I want to give it?

I would appreciate any information you can provide me on this subject.

No if you are not going to be selling your 80%er as a completed lower no markings are required

My 80%er has no markings no nothing

If you wish to sell it then a manufacture and serial number are required

Why would you want to sell an 80%er after completing it???

Thanks for the info. Not looking to sell it, just want to know for future reference. I am going to send it to anodize and want to complete any engraving prior to sending it out.
